A world of glitter that two artists charm with textile The co-starring beyond the world genres and generations is realized in art works from the latest to the masterpiece released at once!

The two most remarkable artists of our time exhibit all at once a number of colorful works, weaved along with their memories tracing life, the earth, time, karma, soul and history.

“Jidaigire” quilt artist, Tsuruta Satoko

Elaborately patching pieces of "Jidaigire" ancient cloth together, bringing them into life and revive ancient souls.

Quilt Japan Exhibition (2019) contemporary section silver award.

Contemporary artist, Kuroiwa Mayu

Her mystic arts symbolize sparkling moments of life courageously, accepting Joie de vivre, agony and karma.

Appeared on BS TV program of “Night Before the Big Break: The Next Generation of Artists” by Fuji Television Network.

Make Hina dolls by using Fukusa, small silk wrapper.

Kuroiwa Mayu “Broach with a Hundred faces”

Make an original Broach using close tear.

Enjoy the introduction of Works by the artists themselves and the concert by the student of Oberlin University.

◆Special 5. Let's make a special Tapestry together with other visitors

Make a giant tapestry of about 4-meters by weaving textiles teared to pieces.
Any visitor can freely join to the work which opens everyday during the exhibition.

Lives in Machida city. Started quilt art by using ancient textile from 1980. Held a lot of private exhibitions at home and abroad. Solo exhibition at PARIO(2018). Quilt Japan Exhibition (2019) contemporary section silver award. An International quilt instructor approved by the Ministry of Education.

Graduated from Machida Design College. Create mysterious world views of unique colors by using various technique in the flat or three-dimensioned works. Appeared on BS TV program of “Night Before the Big Break: The Next Generation of Artists” by Fuji Television Network. Many exhibitions at Shibuya Hikarie, GINZA SIX, etc.
